Method :-

1). Heat oil in a pan, deep fry cornflakes till crisp at a medium flame. Do it in batches and drain on absorbent paper to absorb the excess oil.
2). Fry peanuts, raisins and cashew nuts separately, drain the excess oil. Keep it aside.
Sweetened Cornflakes | 3 cups |
Red chilli powder | 1 tsp |
Oil | for deep frying |
Curry leaves | few |
Peanuts, cashews, raisins | ¼ cup each |
Hing | pinch |
Salt | to taste |

2). Fry peanuts, raisins and cashew nuts separately, drain the excess oil. Keep it aside.
4). Mix all the fried items together along with salt, hing and chilli powder. Gently fold in the cornflakes until they are well coated with the spice blend.
Cool completely and store in airtight container at room temperature. It will stay fresh for at least a week.

# If you are using unsweetened cornflakes, add a tsp of sugar along with salt.
