Ingredients :-
--------------------
Method:-
-------------
1). Preparation : Preheat oven to 400F (200 C). Slice cherry tomatoes and chop capsicum, keep aside. I have combined tomato ketchup and schezwan sauce for the base, set aside (Alternatively, store bought pizza sauce can be used). Slightly heat olive oil, combine garlic powder and a generous pinch of salt, keep aside.
2). Arrange bread slices on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Using a pastry brush, apply olive oil evenly on one side of the bread.
3). Spread the sauce evenly on the same side of the bread. Spread mozzarella cheese on the bread slices.
4). Top the sliced tomatoes and then arrange the chopped capsicum. Finally, sprinkle Italian seasonings and chilli flakes.
5). Transfer to oven, bake for 10-12 minutes, until the cheese melts and the bread becomes crisp.
Remove from oven and immediately add fresh basil. You can cut it diagonally before serving. Serve immediately. It tastes best when it is hot !!
# For stove top method : Heat the tawa, toast the bread slice on both the sides with little butter/ghee/oil. You can also toast it using toaster. Spread the sauce and toppings along with cheese. Place it on the tawa and let it stay until the cheese melts a little.
Notes :-
-----------
# *You can either use store bought pizza sauce or combine like I did.
# I have used wheat bread. You can use any kind.
# Italian seasonings are of your choice. I have used Oregano and mixed herbs.
# Choose toppings of your choice. You can also include onions, pineapple, mushroom, corn kernels, olives, banana peppers, etc,.
# I have combined garlic powder with olive just for the flavor. It is optional and it tastes good even without that.
# Adjust the sauce levels to suit your taste.
