Corn Peas Pulao is a flavorful and crunchy one pot meal. It is an ideal lunch box recipe. Also, it is delicious and healthy. kids would love it too.
Ingredients :-

To Grind :-

Preparation :-
--------------------
# Grind the listed ingredients under "to grind" with a little water to a fine paste, keep it aside.
# Wash the rice and soak it in water for 20 minutes to half an hour.
Method :-
--------------
1). Heat oil in the pressure cooker, add cumin and let it splutter. Add onions and saute till it turns translucent, then add corn and peas and give a quick stir.
2). Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and give a quick stir. Then add the ground paste and saute till it is well blended with the veggies.
3). Drain water from rice and add it to the mixture. Give a stir and fry for a minute. Add water and pressure cook for 3 whistles in medium flame.
4). Once pressure releases, fluff the rice with fork.
Tasty corn peas pulao is ready !! Serve hot with chips or raita.
Suggestions :-

# For kids lunch box, pack with a dollop of ghee. Also adjust the spice level accordingly.
# For more flavor, you can add cashews while grinding.
# Garnish with ghee-fried raisins and cashew.
# For rich taste, Use coconut-milk or plain milk instead of water for cooking rice.
