important nutrients, it is not necessarily true. Cooking in the right
ways not only makes the dish delicious, but also keeps the nutritional
value of the vegetables intact.

Tips for cooking veggies :-

1. Cook vegetables in a closed pan.
2. Always cook vegetables in simmer fire.
3. Do not too much water while cooking, as some of the water soluble
vitamins are getting wasted in the water, when the water is drained.
4. Half cooked vegetables are more healthier than fully cooked vegetables.
5. Wash vegetables before cutting to avoid loss of soluble vitamins and minerals.
6. Peel vegetables as thinly as possible to preserve the minerals and vitamins.
7. Do not throw the water used to boil vegetables. Use it to make soup or rasam.
