5 Minute Mug Cake(MW) ~ Valentines day special !

5 Minute Mug Cake  is fluffy, warm and tastes like a dream! This little miniature chocolate cake would be an outstanding choice for a quick Valentine’s Day dessert. Wishing you all a very happy Valentines day wishes in advance ! Keeping up with romantic spirits, this special occasion deserves nothing less than a luscious dessert.

I have always thought the whole “5 minute MW cake in a mug” thing was sort of skeevy, until I tasted this. This is the perfect treat to express your love, or for satisfying your sweet tooth without making a gigantic dessert. Surprise your valentine with this simple yet tasty treat..

Ingredients :-
-------------------
 Flour   4 tbsp
 Sugar    4 tbsp
 Cocoa (Unsweetened)   1 tbsp
 Egg (whisked) - optional *   2 tbsp
 Milk  3 tbsp
 Oil  3 tbsp
 Chocolate Chips   2 tbsp
 Vanilla Extract
 2 - 3 drops

Method :-
-------------
1). Grease the microwave safe mug with a little butter or cooking spray (Only if you want to tip out the cake onto plate for serving). Combine all the dry ingredients except chocolate chips and mix.
2). Add the eggs(I used whites) and combine well. Then stir in milk, oil and vanilla, blend everything until combined.
3). Then add the chocolate chips into the mug and push it into the batter until completely covered. Microwave on high for 3 minutes or just until the top center of the cake has set. (Timing depends on the microwave - 3 minutes in a 100watts or 4 minutes in a 700watts*)
4). The cake will start to crown over the top of the mug. Don't panic! It will collapse once the heat stops. Let cool slightly and garnish as desired.
Serving Suggestions :-
# Tip out onto a plate/bowl if desired and top it with fruits(berries) (or) serve sprinkled with powdered sugar.
# For pure bliss,
turn the cakes out into a bowl and add whipped cream or ice cream.
# If you want a glaze-like layer on the outside of the cake, drizzle some chocolate or butterscotch syrup. Divine !

 Notes :-
-----------
# Make sure you measure the ingredients correctly or the cake is a lie!

#* You can skip egg for fudgier or vegan version.
# Adding chocolate chips is optional, but it adds extra sweetness. If you don't have chocolate chips, try a broken up candy bar, this amps the awesomeness of your cake.

#  The more you cook, the cake will toughen up and dry. So keep an eye on it the whole time.
# To check the wattage of your microwave, look for a label on the back or on the inside. If it says 1.1 kilowatts, it has 1100 watts. (Source :google)
