Ingredients :-

| Carrot & cabbage (finely chopped) | 2 cups | 
| Onion (finely chopped) | ½ | 
| Grated Coconut (optional) | 2 tbsp | 
| Turmeric powder | ¼ tsp | 
| Chilli powder | 1 tsp | 
| Curry leaves | few | 
| Oil | 1tsp | 
| Mustard | ¼ tsp | 
| Channa dal | ½ tsp | 
| Urad dal | ½ tsp | 
| Salt | to taste |

1). Heat oil in a pan, splutter mustard, add urad dal and channa dal saute till turns light brown. Then add onions and fry till it turns translucent.

3). Once the veggies are cooked, add grated coconut and give a quick stir. Switch off.
Serve hot with rice and gravy or rasam.
Notes :-

# Pressure cook the veggies in a separate cup when you cook rice, it saves the cooking time.
# Add sambar powder along with chilli powder for flavour.
# Instead of chopping, you can grate the carrots.
