Strawberry Oatmeal is a quickie breakfast recipe. Rich creamy and flavored oatmeal, topped with fresh bowl of juicy strawberries makes a filling breakfast. This is a nutritious breakfast recipe, perfect for people rushing the morning.
Ingredients :-

Method :-

1). In a medium bowl (microwave safe), combine oats, brown sugar, almond milk and microwave for 3 minutes. Wash, hull and chop the strawberries and keep aside. Reserve few for garnishing.
2). Remove the bowl from microwave and mix well. Then add chopped strawberries and mix well.
3). Microwave for 2 minutes and let it rest in the microwave for 3 more minutes and remove. It will be of creamy consistency, mix well. Done !
Garnish with strawberries and slivered almonds or with a dollop of sour cream.. Enjoy this healthy bowl of creamy breakfast ..

# Cooking time depends on the type of oats used. Adjust the timings accordingly. Quick cooking oats cooks faster than all the other varieties.
#* I have used almond milk for flavor. However, it can be substituted with the regular milk. In that case add few drops of vanilla extract to add some flavor.
